I can do it!!!

Here is Ollie being independent and sitting like a big boy! He is wearing his "oliver" shirt, compliments of the Schmidt Family. This was taken yesterday when he was not feeling so hot. Could you ever imagine a sick boy who could still look so charming?? He is such a trouper but is wearing his Mama out! He is now protesting diaper changes, grabbing everything in site, and has his 2 upper front teeth! He eats about 2 jars of baby food at a single meal but still only weighs 16 lbs 10 oz. That is considered petite on the scales. But who says those mean anything? He will catch up!! Off to bed!

Go Belle...

Isabelle was tested today for her progress on her reading (Running Records, for those teachers out there :)) and she has jumped from level 8 to 24!!!! She is so proud and I actually got a call from her teacher. The highest kids in her class are at level 9. Yeah Belle!!! Amelia is becoming our little spitfire (yes, more so than before) and she is just blossoming into such a nice young lady. Whenever she is introduced to an adult she initiates a hand shake and "it's nice to meet you." So, years of positive reinforcement does pay off. How encouraging! Preston is going through a bit of a temper stage. Although different than the girls, he gets mad and is done in a matter of minutes. No whining for 30 minutes strait. He is an amazing speaker and gets comments on that all the time. We continue to be amazed at the vocabulary he uses. Oliver has yet another ear infection and is not sleeping well. It just keeps going from one ear to another. He is now on Lactose free formula (for the few times he gets it) because his body is reacting to something. Enjoy the photos!!!

Long time...

It has been so long since blogging and I am not even sure where I left off. (I guess I could read my last post!) But for now, we are getting ready for summer and the kids are deciding which activities they will participate in. We are thinking tennis for the girls and soccer for Preston. Oliver will hang with mom. I think I will take a tennis lesson with the girls because my group would be at the same time and Preston can go to the child care. Our house is listed and so far NO interest. That is ok and we kind of figured that. If we do not sell by fall, we will stay here! (and I will make the basement off limits so I only have 2 stories to clean) Ha ha. Oliver is sitting up by himself now since May 5 and Isabelle lost her 2nd tooth on the bottom front on May 7. She lost it on the bus and when she got off she had blood all over her face. I was nervous until she held up her hand with her tooth in it! She got 2 gold dollars that night. Tomorrow is Mother's Day and I am off to (hopefully) a good night's sleep!!
